FASHION FILM
We were given a task and put into groups in working and 'collaborating' with the Fashion students to design a film. My group consisted of 3 talented Fashion students and 2 from Graphics including myself. After watching a number of influential fashion films made by the likes of Nick Knight, Alexander McQueen, Adam Mufty etc- we began listing down ideas using our skills from our own fields. We eventually came up with a strong narrative- the story of Sophie Lancaster - beaten to death for being a goth - 'where do I fit in?' was our initial idea.
